BBnZ rapper; Ko-Jo Cue seem to have switched his music mode to something explosive! He calls this new single N.A.A. (No Azontos Allowed) and was produced by Trino.
Kojo-Cue is that kind of rapper who can easily get over your head with his verses. When I listened to this song for the first time, names of other artistes started popping up and I was even more certain when he mentioned some artistes he categorised as “FAMILY”… This will only mean that, if your name isn’t mentioned you are among the “Rest” or definitely not part of the Family.
To understand what the title ‘No Azontos Allowed‘ (N.A.A.) Means, let me just break it down a little bit… Azonto is a dance trend which mimics the storyline in a song. This means, they dance along with any rhythm no matter what is said in the song and how relevant it is to their lives. All they need is a song to demonstrate their Azonto Moves.
This is somehow applied in real life by Ko-Jo Cue and tagged Fakers as “Azontos” since all they do is to dance to the rhythm the crowd plays. This means they do certain things just because the crowd calls for it and not because they really want or love doing it. With all the “showoffs” they still hate on people… If the explanation of the title is confusing, the song itself might as well be confusing to you.
