Days prior to the release of his much-anticipated album No Where Cool, the god MC of hip hop M.anifest has revealed the relationship between himself and Ghana’s most decorated artist in the past few years, Sarkodie, has not changed.
Although many believe the relationship between them might have turned sour after they both engaged in lyrical shots, the W’ani Aba hit maker in an interview with NY DJ on Ghana’s biggest breakfast show, Ryse N Shyne on Y102.5FM stated nothing had changed.
He revealed they have always been respectful colleagues who appreciate each others’ works and was not worried about what people thought since they also had the freedom to draw their own conclusions.
“I mean I believe we’ve always been respectful colleagues. It’s not like we talk everyday or something but we are respectful or each other. We’ve always been that way in terms of one being respectful of what he does and his talents and vice versa. For the fans who want to argue, it’s fine. For me, nothing has changed from then and now. It’s not like we were chopping ever Sunday and all of a sudden we are confused… “
The Ghanaian music industry saw the most discussed “beef” in recent times as M.anifest released god MC which has been described as direct response to Sarkodie’s Bossy.
Sarkodie later followed the diss track with Kanta which also sparked up a conversation of Ghanaian rap music.
